So…yeah, that’s happening this weekend. As you can tell, I
don’t watch much football. BUT I do watch some (key word: some) sports movie,
which involves SOME or A LOT of the football tossing.
One of the things I do enjoy from this festive weekend are all the amazing (usually inappropriate and somewhat funny) ads that appear during the breaks and half-time. I'll post the top ones after Sunday. But for now, let me share with you some of my favourite football movies (partially because they were the only ones I've watched. . . so far!)
1) The Blind Side (2009) - because Sandra Bullock starred in
this, she’s awesome, just ask Oscar (ha!)
2) Rudy (1993) - it’s the story of a scrappy fellow who
wanted to play football, and took a bunch of crap from some players, had a
tragedy but, obviously, ended up winning! (scrappy fellow = Rudy = Sean Astin =
Sam from Lord of the Rings)
