A little known fact about me, I love holidays! Not only do you get an excuse to NOT do work, but to also decorate the house/desk/car/self with the appropriate theme given! I was surfing the web and I came across some amazing movie monster themed prints that I found from
collider.com!

Who more appropriate to represent the holiday of Halloween than director/writer/producer
Tim Burton! Of course you can mention,
Wes Craven ( Nightmare on Elm Street, Hills Have Eyes) and
John Carpenter, the man wrote the screenplay for Halloween (1978), and a slew of other scary directors/writers! But I like Tim Burton because of his cryptic, surreal, imaginative, and animated visions of "scary". Amazingly, and appropriately, his movies are for the whole family, and I very much appreciate the ability to sit through his movies without flinching . . . too much.
Hit the Jump for the Posters
His current movie,
Frankenweenie is out in theaters and it has the voices of
Winona Ryder,
Christopher Lee, Catherine O'Hara, and
Martin Short. The prints below are posters for Frankenweenie. This movie is a remake of one of Burton's short film back in 1984 with the same name and characters. It's black and white so it adds to the mystery and "Halloween-y" theme of it all. It's a great homage to Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein.
Here are the prints! You can find more at Collider!
Cheers,
JLT
