Stars Wars is nerdy. . . WRONG! it's awesome! I recently visited the Stars Wars Identity Exhibition at the Montreal Science Center in Montreal, Quebec and it was one of the BEST exhibitions I've been to in a science center, ever!
For fans of the popular franchise, Lucasfilm limited joined forces with Montreal's X3 Productions to open this ambitious exhibition that allows you to create your own "hero" within the Star Wars realm. At the beginning of the exhibition, I was given a chip-encoded rubber bracelet used to chart my own
personal identity at 10 stations in the exhibition. Each station was a discovery of some technological, psychological, and science-y aspect of the world and cultures around you and it's comparisons with the characters and world of Luke and Anakin Skywalker.

Star Wars Identities is at the Montreal Science Centre in the Quays of the Old Port until Sept. 16. Admission: $23 for adults, $13.50 for children aged 4 to 12, and $63 for a family (two adults, two children).
Click the jump for more!
If the "identity" adventure wasn't cool enough for you, the massive amounts of Star Wars memorabilia, set-costumes and original sketches will get any diehard fan a massive panic attack. I was in awe of the life-like Yoda figure and all the cool preliminary sketches of each character and the detail put into the designing them!
(fun fact: Yoda was sketched after George Lucas' vision of the wisest man he knew, Gandhi!")
I invite anyone who loves adventure, learning and obviously George Lucas to check out this exhibition! It's a fun time for the whole family and any fellow nerd cool kid! At the end of the hour, my avatar hero was named Jennie, and she was an Ewok who lived as a fighter pilot! You can check her out below!
Here are more pictures of my trip!
May the Force be With You.
