The Man that Broke Batman

I saw the Dark Knight Rises at the premiere showing 12am Friday morning. Was I excited? nope. Was I peeing in my pants and hyperventilating? HELLS YES.  It was by far one of the best summer movie anticipations of the year and I was not disappointed, quite the contrary, my mind was inception-ed and I loved it! Christopher Nolan has become the A-lister director of Hollywood, and on IMDB all of his movies have made it in the top 250 movies of ALL TIME! I don't know what to expect from this man, but it'll always be a great surprise.

Nolan always has an amazing cast, and if you liked the people you saw in last year's Inception, than you'll know how terrific Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph-Gordon Levitt are. Hardy is the amazing Bain, as the title of my post, Bain was the comic villain that broke Batman. . . literally. (Hint: Fans of the comic books will see the "pivotal fight scene/move" in the movie as well!-squeal!). Cotillard plays a rich heiress and a love interest for Bruce, and Levitt plays Commissioner Gordon's cop protege.

I encourage everyone, especially those lazy-I'm-going-to-wait-until-two-weeks-from-now people to take this joyous, summer weather to see Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway in tight black suits. It's worth the wait in line and the full price weekdays. I also want to add to the non-believers in Hathaway as the new Catwoman. . .wait till you see her!

As I sign-off, a few words from the Batman himself:
"this is not a car"

Y'all didn't get it? well GO SEE THE MOVIE!. . . or watch the trailer again!

Thanks!
